Ronda Locatelli, the award-winning Italian restaurant at Atlantis the Palm, introduces new vegan menu

Located within the Avenues of Atlantis, The Palm, Ronda Locatelli brings a traditional taste of Italy into the heart of Dubai with its distinct offerings. Now the award-winning Italian restaurant is introducing a new vegan menu, featuring over 40 dishes, making it the largest offering from a stand-alone non-vegan restaurant in the city. Comprising a delicious mix of salads, pizza, pasta and dessert dishes, both vegans and non-vegans can enjoy the latest food offerings created by the two culinary masterminds at Ronda Locatelli, starting in November. To officially launch the new menu, Giorgio Locatelli will be visiting Ronda Locatelli on November 23rd, where guests will get the chance to meet the Michelin star chef.

The menu has been designed to tantalise taste buds, with a selection of plant based starters including insalataestiva, a summer mixed vegetable salad and insalata di spinaci; baby spinach, pomegranate dressing and vegan cheese with walnuts. There are also ever popular tomato focaccia, zucchini fritte and focaccia all’aglio which is garlic focaccia with scrumptious, creamy vegan cheese.

Pizza enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice, with the eight different varieties of vegan friendly crispy pizzas. Prepared daily with homemade dough which is fermented for a minimum of 48 hours to ensure the highest quality in both taste and texture. Traditionalists will enjoy the classic margherita, and for those looking for something extra the quattrostragioni is ideal with tomato sauce, vegan mozzarella, black olives, mushrooms, artichoke and aubergine.

Guests can experience the full flavours of Italy with the vast selection of pasta choices. For those who enjoy a slight spice the penne arabiata is sure to satisfy, and spaghetti fans will savour the taste of Giorgio’s spaghetti ala putnesca with a tangy tomato sauce, black olives, cherry tomatoes and capers. There is also a delectable selection of side dishes to choose from, including potatoes, chilli and garlic broccoli, steamed spinach and asparagus.

Saving the best for last, guests are invited to satisfy any sweet tooth cravings with the vegan dessert selection. Chocolate lovers can enjoy the sfera di cioccolato, a decadent chocolate sphere with coconut ice cream, mixed berries and hot raspberry sauce. As well as the fresh fruit salad, the dessert menu also comprises of rich vegan chocolate cake, strawberry, mandarin, lemon and coconut sorbet and finally the mousse al cioccolato, an avocado chocolate mousse.
