Nibu Mathew has recently been appointed as the Director of Food and Beverage for Park Hyatt Hyderabad — one of the most opulent 5-star hotels in the City of Nizams. Mathew holds over 15 years of work experience in the fields of Food and Beverage, and Sales and Marketing. He has previously been associated with Oberoi Hotels and Resorts, Starwood, IHG and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts. His last assignment was with the St. Regis, Mumbai. In his new role at Park Hyatt Hyderabad, he will take lead of overall F&B operations, drive strategies to increase profitability across outlets and introduce unique dining experiences and menu options. He has demonstrated several skills including the creation & execution of F&B strategies, ideation of promotional activities and enhancing product experience, all with the belief that reinvention is key to success. He also holds extensive experience in Events, which he gained through his role in Sales and Marketing.
When asked what traits he consider to be the most important for a hospitality professional, he answers humbly, “a fiery passion, the keenness to learn and a genuine sense of warmth.” He is elated to be a part of the Hyatt family and is looking forward to introducing new dining concepts and improving guest experiences.
