IHCL Signs New Ginger Hotel in Dimapur, Expands Northeast Presence to 19 Properties

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, has announced the signing of a new Ginger hotel in Dimapur, Nagaland. The greenfield project marks IHCL’s debut in the state and strengthens its growing footprint across Northeast India.

Speaking on the development, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate and Development, IHCL, said, “Dimapur plays a pivotal role as an economic and cultural centre in Nagaland. With increasing travel demand and infrastructure development in the region, this signing aligns with our strategy to expand our presence in the Northeast. We are delighted to partner with T.K. Enterprises for this project.”

Strategically located near Dimapur Airport, the upcoming 90 key property in Dimapur will showcase the brand’s lean luxe design philosophy. The hotel will offer sweeping city views, contemporary rooms, and well-designed public spaces that balance work and leisure. Key features will include Ginger’s signature all-day diner, Qmin, serving both global and local favourites, a bar, fully equipped fitness centre, and versatile meeting spaces catering to business and social events.
