Under the Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts umbrella, Mario Stanic has stepped in as General Manager of RAAYA by Atmosphere, while Maurice Van Den Bosch takes over as General Manager of VARU by Atmosphere. Within COLOURS OF OBLU, the group welcomes Brett Craig Castleman as the newly appointed General Manager of OBLU SELECT Sangeli.
Mario Stanic Leads RAAYA by Atmosphere
Mario Stanic takes the helm at RAAYA by Atmosphere, bringing a dynamic global hospitality career shaped by an Australian upbringing and more than three decades of experience across luxury resorts in the Maldives, the Indian Ocean, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
Widely recognised for reimagining guest journeys, Mario is admired for blending creativity, innovation, and emotional intelligence. His leadership combines operational discipline with pronounced empathy, enabling teams to design experiences that surprise and uplift guests.

Maurice Van Den Bosch Appointed General Manager at VARU by Atmosphere
Born in Australia, Maurice Van Den Bosch brings more than 25 years of global hospitality expertise to his new role at VARU by Atmosphere. His international experience spans the Maldives, Sri Lanka, and the Caribbean, with a proven record of turning strategy into measurable success while inspiring diverse, multicultural teams.
Within Atmosphere Core, Maurice is a respected leader with prior tenures at Atmosphere Kanifushi and RAAYA by Atmosphere. His philosophy blends enthusiasm, innovation, and a collaborative spirit.

Brett Craig Castleman Takes Charge at OBLU SELECT Sangeli
Joining OBLU SELECT Sangeli as General Manager, Mr Brett Craig Castleman brings over 27 years of global hospitality experience. A South African national with deep operational expertise across Africa, the Indian Ocean, and the Caribbean, Brett is known for his intuitive, people-first leadership style.
He champions heartfelt guest experiences rooted in cultural connection and team empowerment.
