The St. Regis Goa Resort has announced the appointment of Arun Vishnu as its new General Manager
A visionary leader with over 20 years of experience in the ultra-luxury hospitality sector, Arun joins the property after his tenure at The Ritz- Carlton Pune, leading the hotel and supporting the team during a transition phase. Prior to that he served as General Manager at the award-winning Accor Hotels’ MGallery hotel collection in Karon, Phuket, Thailand.
Throughout his career, Arun has curated authentic customer experiences and led passionate teams across preeminent global brands, including Westin, The Ritz-Carlton, Park Hyatt, and JW Marriott Marquis. His extensive international background spans India, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, the Maldives, and Thailand.
He holds an MBA in International Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration from the prestigious Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration. Mr. Vishnu’s expertise is anchored in managing mega-scale operations and flagship assets. His impressive portfolio includes the following:
He previously served as Hotel Manager, with notable career highlights at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore, where he led the property to one of the highest levels of satisfaction among all Ritz-Carlton hotels. At MGallery in Phuket, he achieved an unprecedented increase in Revenue Generation Index (RGI) and secured multiple “World Luxury Hotel Awards” during his leadership. He has also contributed to the successful launch of major developments, including The Westin Desaru Coast Resort in Malaysia, and provided task force leadership for the JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa.
