With more than 15 years of experience in hospitality finance and financial operations, Sudhir Gupta brings extensive expertise across financial planning and analysis, budgeting, management reporting, taxation, cost controls, hotel pre-openings and finance systems. In his new role, he will oversee the finance function across Summit Hotels & Resorts, with a focus on strengthening financial controls, improving reporting systems and supporting the company’s growth and expansion plans. 

Prior to joining Summit Hotels & Resorts, Sudhir Gupta served as Cluster Financial Controller for Marriott Surat and Courtyard by Marriott Surat, where he was responsible for the finance operations of both hotels. His mandate included budgeting, business reviews, financial reporting, revenue recognition, taxation, cost and inventory accounting, vendor negotiations and financial controls. Earlier in his career, Sudhir Gupta held finance leadership and operational roles across Southern Hotels Pvt. Ltd., 1589 Hotels Pvt. Ltd. (Clarks Collection), JHM  Interstate Hotels, Crowne Plaza and The Oberoi Group, giving him experience across both corporate and property-level hotel finance. 

His experience spans both property and corporate-level finance, including involvement in hotel pre-openings, implementation of accounting and operating systems, performance analysis and the development of financial processes across multi-property portfolios.
