The Meisterstück Great Masters Ferrari Tailor Made Inedita Special Edition brings the design approach of Ferrari’s Tailor Made Inedita world into a writing instrument.
Following the introduction of the Classica edition in 2025, which focused on timeless elegance and classic materials, this second release in the collection explores a more experimental vision of the Ferrari Tailor Made programme.
The Montblanc Meisterstück fountain pen was first launched in 1924. The new edition draws on this history and Ferrari’s approach to materials and personalisation.
At the heart of the writing instrument collection lies Ferrari Tailor Made, the personalisation programme that enables Ferrari clients to create a vehicle reflecting their preferences. Inedita, one of Tailor Made’s design expressions, uses high-tech and sartorial materials, including bold colours and fabrics inspired by fashion and interior design.
Designed in collaboration with the Ferrari Design Studio, the Meisterstück Great Masters Ferrari Tailor Made Inedita Special Edition features a carbon-fibre cap and barrel. Used in the automotive sector for its strength and low weight, the material has a textured finish that contrasts with the smooth black PVD coating on the fittings.
The Prancing Horse adorns the barrel as a filigree aluminium sticker. The Montblanc emblem occupies its traditional position on the cap top, this time in Azzurro Dino, a shade of blue named after Enzo Ferrari’s son, Dino. Historically worn by Ferrari drivers on their racing overalls, the blue was also associated with the Dino 246 car from 1969.
The fountain pen’s handcrafted solid Au 750 gold, ruthenium-coated nib features a motif depicting the Montblanc emblem against a cross-hatched circle.
The Montblanc Meisterstück Great Masters Ferrari Tailor Made Inedita Special Edition is available as a fountain pen and rollerball from October 2026.
