Tourism Australia has announced the appointment of Maishaa Mukadam as the new Business Development Manager – India
Maishaa is based in the Tourism Australia office in Mumbai and recently commenced in the role.
Maishaa Mukadam brings over 17 years of extensive experience in destination marketing, travel distribution, and business events (MICE) to the team. Her impressive career includes key roles at organisations such as the Singapore Tourism Board, Thomas Cook, GlobalTix, Cipla Pharmaceuticals, Fountainhead, and Apavou Hotels.
In her new role at Tourism Australia, Maishaa is responsible for distribution, partnerships with key distribution and aviation partners, Business Events and the promotion of the award-winning Aussie Specialist Program.
India is one of Australia’s fastest-growing inbound tourism markets, and according to Tourism Research Australia’s forecasts, it is expected to continue to grow to reach almost 650,000 a year by 2030.
