Adani Group strengthens its hospitality focus with the appointment of Rajneesh Malhotra as Country Head – Hospitality, Asset Management & Business Development at Adani Realty, signalling a strategic step in expanding its portfolio of premium hospitality assets across India
An accomplished business leader and award-winning strategist, Rajneesh Malhotra brings extensive experience in hotel development, brand collaborations, and performance-driven asset management. Known for transforming underperforming assets and delivering consistent EBITDA growth, he has successfully led large hospitality portfolios to surpass industry benchmarks.
Before joining Adani Realty, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Chalet Hotels Ltd, managing a 3052-key portfolio of luxury and upper-upscale international hotels along with one million square feet of commercial office space.
During his tenure, he played a key role in shaping the company’s business strategy, driving operational excellence, and achieving strong investor confidence through steady performance metrics.
Earlier, as Regional Director of Operations – South Asia at Radisson Hotel Group, Malhotra oversaw a network of around 50 hotels across the subcontinent, enhancing operational efficiency and strengthening the brand’s presence in key markets.
Industry observers highlight that the Adani Group is gearing up for a robust expansion in hospitality, with a pipeline of branded hotels across major destinations, including the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).
Several of these projects are expected to align with the Group’s growing airport and infrastructure ventures, reflecting its vision to integrate hospitality with world-class infrastructure and destination development.
