Ummed Hotels India has announced the appointment of Alex Koshy as Vice President Operations. In this role, Alex Koshy is responsible for Operations and Business development for the group.
Prior to this he has worked with brands like Radisson Hotel Group, The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa, Carnoustie Beach Resort, Green Isle Hotels, IHCL, Park Plaza etc.
Alex Koshy holds a diploma in Hotel Management diploma from IHM Chennai, after which he moved to Dublin,Ireland to pursue his Post graduation in Business studies.
He continued to work in Ireland and later the UK. After 12 years of working in Europe and UK for the Fitzwilliam Group, Doyle Collection, Park Plaza hotels Europe, he returned home in 2011 and opened the Carnoustie Wellness Resort in Kerala as General Manager.
Alex Koshy also opened The Khyber Himalayan Resort & L’occitane Spa in Gulmarg, Kashmir.
Ummed Hotels India currently operates three hotels, namely The Ummed Ahmedabad, The Ummed Palace Resort & Spa, Jodhpur and The Ummed Haveli, Jodhpur.
Ummed Hotels India, which recently celebrated their Silver Jubilee is all set to unveil their new look Club Floor at their Ahmedabad property and will be adding a Wellness wing to their Jodhpur resort.
He has managed to strike the right chord between work and personal life and maintains a good work life balance.
