Ankush Bindra appointed Vice President – Hospitality at HDFC Bank

HDFC Bank has announced the appointment of Ankush Bindra as Vice President – Hospitality, marking a significant milestone in his illustrious career that spans more than two decades across corporate travel, mobility services, and business operations.
In his new role, Ankush will lead travel procurement and operations for HDFC Bank, with a focus on enriching experiences for employees and travel partners, while ensuring operational excellence and sustainability across the bank’s hospitality ecosystem.
An industry veteran, Ankush brings with him extensive expertise in travel management, strategic sourcing, stakeholder engagement, and vendor relations. Prior to joining HDFC Bank, he served as Category Lead – Mobility Services at Siemens, where he successfully managed complex global travel operations and vendor partnerships. His strategic approach to sourcing and process automation played a vital role in aligning travel management with business goals, improving efficiency, compliance, and service quality across geographies.
Earlier, Ankush worked with Cummins India as Regional Travel Manager, where he led travel operations across multiple regions and implemented systems to enhance supplier management, cost efficiency, and traveller satisfaction. His leadership was instrumental in strengthening Cummins’ travel governance framework and ensuring seamless experiences for global employees.
During his tenure with Ericsson, Ankush managed a travel spend exceeding USD 25 million for over 10,000 travellers. He introduced the organisation’s online booking tool (OBT), negotiated key airline and hotel partnerships, and represented Ericsson at leading industry forums such as ACTE and GBTA.
Over the years, he has also held leadership roles with Hrg Sita India (Kuoni Group), Yatra Online Ltd., HCL Technologies, and ebookers, building a well-rounded understanding of the corporate travel landscape.
At HDFC Bank, Ankush’s appointment highlights the institution’s continued commitment to strengthening its travel and hospitality management through innovation, strategic partnerships, and a sharp focus on the employee experience.
