British Airways’ second daily flight from London Heathrow to Bengaluru landed at 09:15 IST on 2 June 2026, marking the introduction of an additional service on the route and further strengthening connectivity between the two regions

British Airways currently operates a daily service between Bengaluru and London Heathrow and from today, the airline is introducing an additional daily flight during the summer season until 24 October 2026. This will double frequency to 14 weekly flights, all operated by the airline’s Boeing 787 aircraft, providing more than 39,000 additional seats on the route*.
This adjustment forms part of a series of short-term schedule changes across the airline’s network, introduced to meet increased customer demand during the busy summer travel period, while also responding to the evolving situation in the Middle East.

Neil Chernoff, British Airways’ Chief Planning and Strategy Officer, said, “Today’s additional service to Bengaluru reflects the strong demand we are seeing on the route and underlines our continued commitment to the Indian market.
“Increasing frequency during the peak summer period allows us to offer greater flexibility and improved connectivity for our customers travelling to London and beyond, and we hope they take advantage of the added frequency this summer.”
Bengaluru remains a key market for British Airways, driven by demand across business, leisure and visiting friends and relatives.
