Cartier’s Le Chœur des Pierres: High Jewellery Collection 2026, Chapter Two

At Cartier, everything starts with the stone

When you see a ‘Cartier stone’ for the first time, you know. Recognising one among other exceptional gemstones is a question of intuition, guided by the emotion it provokes.

Stellara

Set at the centre of a sparkling piece, a 41.01 carat Ceylon sapphire lends powerful energy to this graphic composition, rich in geometric details. Masters in the art of combining openwork with diamonds of all shapes and sizes, the jewellers have succeeded in creating a rhythm – a wave-like motion that spreads throughout the entire piece. One challenge for the artisans was maintaining the lines of the radiating patterns while creating an exceptionally light design. These clean lines allow the structure to recede into the background whilst retaining its suppleness.

Cartier celebrates the ‘pierre reine’, a regal gemstone that imbues this spectacular necklace with its spirit and character. Necklace, white gold, sapphire, diamonds.

Fibria

Rubies and turquoise open the composition, set boldly like a diamond-edged rope. On the upper section, the gemstones lend this piece, with its striking impression of volume, a sense of lightness and depth. Around the clasp and at both ends of this braid, the rubies give way to turquoise and diamonds, arranged in a series of horizontal lines.

Emeralds complete the piece: two to finish off the two asymmetrical strands, and three others, gradually building to a crescendo as the necklace’s central motif. Through this ode to gemstones, the artisans highlight contrasts between materials, explore the world of textiles, and offer bold, inspiring colour combinations.

Emeralds, turquoise, rubies – three distinctive gemstones that have inspired Cartier to create a necklace with a unique design, a two-strand braid reminiscent of exquisite decorative trimmings. Necklace, platinum, emeralds, rubies, turquoise, diamonds.

Polydroma

This piece draws inspiration from the vocabulary of urban architecture, a realm of stylistic exploration close to Cartier. Volume, geometry, repeating patterns – each element helps to amplify the visual impact of this dazzling creation, which shimmers with a constant radiance.

On this domed necklace, completely paved with diamonds and adorned at its centre with a 5.18 carat Asscher-cut diamond, diamonds are transformed into the ultimate elegant mesh. Necklace, white gold, diamonds.

Panthère Tunya

A two-sided gem, it offers a rare quality and depth. A cascade of emerald beads bursts forth from its unique shape, all watched over by a panther. With this feline as its centrepiece, Cartier begins the transition from realism to abstraction: the emerald beads that dot its onyx and diamond coat gradually multiply until they become a stream of pearls.

Making this transformation even more magnificent, nine cushion-cut Fancy Yellow diamonds (totalling 10.91 carats) punctuate this river of emeralds. The eye wanders from the animal to the exquisite cascade, captivated by the centrepiece and the mystery of its formation – the living heart of this composition.

Cartier has achieved a remarkable feat by creating the illusion of movement in the most precious materials, centred around a 48.12-carat Zambian emerald cabochon. Necklace, platinum, white gold, yellow gold, emeralds, yellow diamonds, onyx, diamonds.

Tipaza

Strings of ruby beads, notable for their matched pairing and aesthetic harmony, add to the melody. Together, they form the basis for a minimalist necklace that celebrates stripped-down design – that ‘nothing in excess’ that sets Cartier High Jewellery apart. Whilst the design is simple, the inspiration is rich.

Using the stringing technique, the necklace – comprising three rows of ruby beads – becomes three strands featuring a geometric pattern of alternating rubies and diamonds. The two briolette diamonds complete this exquisite waterfall arrangement, descending from the slope of the shoulder. A combination of lines and shapes dear to Cartier, whose mastery of gemstone cuts and motifs gives rise to a movement born solely from the interplay of the stones themselves.

This piece opens with two exceptional 7.36 carat briolette diamonds. Necklace, white gold, rubies, diamonds.

Etnara

This flow of lava blazes around the centre stone – a 67-carat gem – from which the entire structure of the necklace unfolds. Perfectly matched, the rubellites are arranged in two symmetrical rows, separated by topazes which, like sparks, bring the whole piece to life.

The stones set the tone: an exceptional collection of rubellites sparked the idea for this necklace, imbued with an earth-like energy inspired by the depths of volcanoes. Necklace, yellow gold, rubellites, topazes, diamonds.

Tutti Chaya

A firm fixture in the Maison’s stylistic repertoire, this celebration of opulence – centred on shades of blue, red and green – is one of the defining hallmarks of Cartier High Jewellery.

For this necklace, the designer has created a geometric mesh paved with diamonds and accented with rubies, emeralds and sapphires. The onyx, shaped to fit the piece, adds contrast and depth to the overall design. The asymmetrical strands are finished with two ribbed Colombian emeralds totalling 56.97 carats, held in place by two invisible clasps. On the back, a sliding clasp allows the length to be adjusted.

The artisans have lavished every detail with the greatest care, concealing everything in this ingenious design that ensures flexibility and comfort when worn. And because, for Cartier, the reverse side is just as beautiful as the front, the artisans have taken refinement a step further by transforming the bridgework between each element on the reverse into a motif of its own.

Nearly 2,000 hours of work – 1,400 of which were devoted to goldsmithing – were spent crafting this piece entirely by hand, in keeping with the Cartier High Jewellery tradition. Much like variations on a theme, Cartier has been passionately exploring Tutti Frutti since the mid-1920s. Necklace, platinum, emeralds, rubies, sapphires, onyx, diamonds.

Earring

Brown diamonds, rubies, blue spinels, pink and orange sapphires, emeralds – among the most precious stones, these have inspired the Maison’s designers and artisans to create five unique pieces that shine with exquisite radiance.

Drosera

The designer envisaged encasing these fruit-like stones in the cavities of a diamond-paved structure that wraps around the earlobe. The freshness of dew is evoked by the diamond droplets adorning the top of the ear.

The organic curves of 18 rubies totalling 28.44 carats sparked this creative process. Earrings, white gold, rubies, diamonds.

Ojai

This unique design is underpinned by the exquisite harmony between the pink and orange graduated hues of 18 sapphires, totalling 24.12 carats. Falling in droplets onto the earlobe, the gemstones are held in place by diamond twigs, sparkling against the skin.

Turning convention on its head, they adorn the top of the ear. Earrings in rose gold, pink-orange sapphires, and diamonds.

Volubia

Emeralds and diamonds come together in a profusion of baguette and briolette cuts, lending a gentle fluidity to the overall design.

A burst of emeralds forms the delicate foliage from which Cartier has crafted a unique set of earrings, resting on the earlobe and the upper part of the ear, in an asymmetrical arrangement.

Patellia

Set upside down – with the pavilion facing out and the facets and table beneath – each gem radiates its brilliance through a pattern of white and brown diamonds. A creation in which the sparkle of the gemstones flows endlessly, epitomising Cartier’s mastery of High Jewellery, capturing light and movement.

This piece began with two brown diamonds totalling 11.32 carats, remarkable for their colour and pear shape. Earrings, rose gold, yellow gold, brown diamonds, diamonds.

Undara

Is it a mysterious shell, a creature from the depths of the abyss, or perhaps white-capped waves lapping against the shore? Anything is possible with this set of earrings, whose three pieces wrap around the ears in a sparkling display of precious bubbles.

The aquatic blue of this spinel collection sparked the designer’s imagination. Earrings, white gold, blue spinels, diamonds.
