Courtyard by Marriott expands portfolio with 93-room Courtyard by Marriott Mahabaleshwar

Courtyard by Marriott announced the brand’s debut in Mahabaleshwar with the opening of Courtyard by Marriott Mahabaleshwar.

Located in the beautiful hills and valleys of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Western India, the 93-room new hotel is set to provide a sophisticated yet comfortable environment for guests to elevate their travel experience in this alluring destination.

Set against the stunning backdrop of majestic peaks and a lush green valley, Courtyard by Marriott Mahabaleshwar sits at an impressive 1,353 m above sea level and nestles right above the famous Lingmala Waterfalls and Venna River.

Mahabaleshwar is known as “the Strawberry Capital of India”, guests staying at the hotel have easy access to an array of unique experiences including strawberry picking at various pluck parks and scenic picnic spots close to the Lingmala falls.

Courtyard by Marriott Mahabaleshwar features 93 well-appointed, spacious guestrooms with private balconies and soon-to-open villas with beautiful balcony views and direct access to a plunge pool. Every design element and amenity in the guest room is geared towards comfort, convenience, and relaxation, including comfortable bedding, a window-side lounger, 49-inch TVs, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi.

Delivering authentic dining experiences, Courtyard by Marriott Mahabaleshwar hosts four outlets. The Berry Library, an all-day dining venue that offers local and international flavours. 

Sigri, the Indian fine dining restaurant is an ode to the decadent royalty and richness of the cuisines of the Nawabs. Savor delicacies prepared the traditional way, slow-cooked over smoldering wood fires, bringing alive in all its authenticity, the rich, aromatic flavors of Imperial India. Set against the backdrop of the valley, Quarter Deck is the perfect spot for guests to enjoy sunset views with fresh cocktails and light bites and finally – Cloud Café, located on the roof-top, under the open skies, the causal café serves delicious snacks and specialty coffees.

Courtyard by Marriott Mahabaleshwar features 17,176 sq ft of experiential event and meeting spaces both indoors and outdoors. The hotel holds one of the largest event venues in the city, making it the ideal address for weddings, intimate parties, and social gatherings.  Recreation facilities include PLAY, a dedicated space for kids, a fitness centre and an infinity pool with a temperature-controlled Jacuzzi.
