Enjoy Traditional Thai Hospitality In Samut Songkram Homestays

Baan Bang Phlap, Bang Kon sub district, Samut Songkram province is 71 km’s from Bangkok and 20 minutes from Amphur Wa market. It is an excellent excursion for just one day, and an overnight stay helps to get the real experience.

The community is a classic picture of central Thailand: traditional teak houses set among verdant fruit orchards. Endowed with shady wooded areas and cool streams, Baan Bang Phlap is an ideal setting for enjoying the Thai countryside.

Guests enjoy a quintessential Thai experience in peaceful, comfortable, Thai style homestays. You can explore the surrounding orchards on foot or, by bicycle. You can enjoy fresh fruits and fresh air, learn how to plant organic fruits, produce organic fertilizer and ferment sweet fruits.

You can also visit historical and cultural sites, such as Baan Phaya Sor, the home of a renowned Thai music master, explore local herb and vegetable gardens, and even try your hand at prawn fishing! It’s possible to learn Thai Cuisine and music or float downstream to observe local river life.
The villagers’ orchards are nationally famous for rare species of 100% organic pomello, rose apple, lychee, mango, coconut and other fruits.
