Asia SKAL Congress, 2019 was recently inaugurated by Sri Sa Ra Mahesh, Minister for Sericulture and Tourism, Govt. of Karnataka, in the presence of Lavonne Wittmann, President, SKAL International; TK Anil Kumar, IAS, Secretary, Karnataka Tourism and Manoj Mathew, President, SKAL Bengaluru.
The three-day event, which brought leading luminaries of the travel, tourism and hospitality industries, was held in Bengaluru from June 27 – 30, 2019 at the Taj MG Road, Bengaluru.
The event had speeches by leading domain experts on digital travel, marketing of destinations, motivation speakers such as Mr. Pawan Agarwal and Nivedha R.M, CEO & Founder at Trashcon Labs Private Limited, who has revolutionised the disposal of Trash through patented innovation technology.
Speaking on occasion of the inauguration, Manoj Mathew, President, SKAL Bangalore said “Bengaluru among other eloquent sobriquets is one of fastest growing cities in the world, with footprints getting stronger each day with the emergence of high-end technology and a global hub for the start-up bandwagon.
The three-day action-packed event saw over 250 delegates from across ten countries all aligned to promote friendship and fellowship through the world of tourism.
The key supporters of the event include India Tourism, Karnataka Tourism, Gujarat Tourism, Taj Hotels, Jammu & Kashmir Tourism and Cox & Kings.
