Commenting on the signing, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said, “The signing of this hotel is in line with IHCL’s vision of being present in key destinations across India. Not only is Haridwar an important upcoming industrial hub, it is also an epicenter for pilgrims. This signing marks IHCL’s second hotel in this vibrant city and the debut of the Vivanta brand in Haridwar. We are delighted to partner with Marvelous Infraestate Pvt. Ltd for this project.”

Featuring 129 rooms and suites, the Vivanta hotel will be strategically located within SIDCUL – the State Industrial Development Corporation of Uttarakhand Limited, a vibrant industrial township, and BHEL. The hotel will offer multiple dining options including Mynt, the all-day dining restaurant; a bar and a deli. With recreational facilities including a swimming pool and gym, and banqueting facilities spread over 11,000 square feet, the hotel will be the ideal location for both, leisure and business travellers. The hotel is slated to open in 2023.

Abhishek Yash Tyagi, Managing Director, Marvelous Infraestate Pvt. Ltd, said, “We are happy to collaborate with IHCL to introduce a Vivanta hotel in Haridwar. We believe that this hotel will further elevate the hospitality landscape in the city with a new and refreshed spirit.”

One of the oldest living cities, Haridwar is regarded as one of the seven holiest places for Hindus. Apart from being a key pilgrimage site and gateway to other popular Himalayan destinations, Haridwar is also being developed as a key industrial hub in the state of Uttarakhand.

With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have eight hotels in Uttarakhand including three under development.
