IHCL has announced the signing of a Tree of Life resort in Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu

This is a greenfield project.

The 46-key Tree of Life, Karaikudi will draw inspiration from the region’s iconic Chettiar architecture, blending traditional design elements with contemporary comforts. The property will offer an all-day dining restaurant showcasing authentic Chettinad cuisine, along with wellness and recreation facilities including a swimming pool, gym and spa.
Ampa Palaniappan, Managing Director, AMPA Group, said, “We are happy to add another project to our ongoing partnership with IHCL, bringing the Tree of Life brand to a historic destination like Karaikudi.”
Karaikudi is a heritage town in Tamil Nadu, known for its architecture and grand Chettinad mansions.
With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 33 hotels in Tamil Nadu including 14 under development.
