Jasper Hotel Representation forays into expanding its services in India

Jasper Hotel representation was incorporated in the year 2012 by Sanjay Thakur. He was looking forward to start his own venture in the ever-growing travel and tourism industry and was looking to secure new business opportunities for individual hotels from his extended years of experience in sales for international hotel brands in India.

  • At present, the firm is servicing 14 hotels from commercial sales/revenue front with strong foot hold in Himachal Pradesh and South India:
  • Ramada Kasauli
  • Kalpa Deshnag
  • Hotel Batseri, Sangla
  • De Exotica Resort, Theog
  • The Chalets Naldehra
  • The Fort Nalagarh Heritage, Nalagarh
  • The Cheteau Garli Heritage, Pragpur
  • The Astor, Kolkata
  • Gokulan Grand Hotel & Spa Bangalore
  • Gokulam Park, Coimbatore
  • Gokulam Park, Munnar
  • Gokulam Park, Ashok Nagar, Chennai
  • Gokulam Park Sabari, Chennai
  • Gokulam Park Hotel & Convention Centre, Kochi

With the joining of Sanjeev Kumar, early this year as a partner to this venture, the firm is looking forward to expand his sales and marketing services and add new hotels to its portfolio. Kumar is primarily overlooking marketing and expansion strategies for the firm and extending their existing bouquet of services:

  • Strategically conceptualise result based sales strategies (targeting key accounts for the hotels)
  • 360-degree digital and marketing support (print and electronic media, social media, bloggers and freelance writers, direct travellers and events)
  • PR support and media buying, sponsorship during key forums ( awards functions and travel trade events), content writing for the press release and profiling
  • Loyalty programs

Both Thakur and Kumar has more than 15 years of experiences in the hospitality sector (overlooking sales and marketing) for international hotel brands in India. The firm is also exploring opportunities to cater to overseas hotels to market them in India and add more offices across the country.
