With an experience of over 8 years in the wellness industry, Jyoti Rathore has joined Quan Spa, the award-winning Spa facility at JW Marriott Chandigarh, as its Spa Manager. Having an extensive experience in Spa Operations and Business and Customer Service Management, her primary responsibilities include managing Spa operations and budgets, enhancing Spa sales, Spa revenue management strategy, executing marketing as well as ensuring and delivering exceptional customer service.

Prior to joining JW Marriott Chandigarh, Jyoti was working as the Manager – Cedar Spa by L’Occitane & Warren Tricomi Salon at JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa, Mussoorie, where, along with handling operations, she garnered acclaim for the Spa facility across JW Marriott properties in the APAC region. With her strong credentials, she has been tasked with handling the overall operations of the spa, overseeing processes to improve workflow and generate more sales. As its new Spa Manager, she will ensure that Quan Spa at JW Marriott Chandigarh continues to exceed guest expectations at all time and that the staff is up to date in delivering the highest treatment standards.
Adept at analysing the organization’s critical business requirements, Jyoti is deft in managing operations from all Spa revenue centres, thus enabling her to implement high quality standards to enhance competitiveness, increase revenue, improve profitability and drive outstanding results. She is proficient in balancing budgets and analysing the financial operations of an establishment to determine which areas can be improved upon to enhance profitability.
Having knowledge of Ayurvedic Therapies & Treatments, Holistic Spa & Beauty Therapies, Yoga Asanas and operational understanding of Spa & Salon Equipments, Jyoti’s skills extend beyond the treatment rooms. A highly skilled leader, she actively involves herself in recruitment and training of staff, training of therapists as well as learning and implementation of latest industry-level developments to ensure optimum customer satisfaction.
Along with her professional skills and business acumen, Jyoti’s interpersonal and customer service skills are the assets which allow her to smoothly interact and understand the ever-evolving client needs in the dynamic Spa & Salon environment.
Jyoti’s inspiration for getting into the spa and wellness industry was the ‘healing quotient’ of this industry. This industry allows one to help others by enabling them to get rejuvenated through different therapies and treatments. Jyoti believes that today’s clients are seeking solutions for better sleep, stress management, proper nutrition and genuine self-care. Helping her clientele feel pampered, beautiful and healthy is her passion and that passion is seen in the work she does. Drawing on her knowledge and skills, Jyoti plans sessions that enhance clients’ physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being and sync with their lifestyle, preferences and larger objectives.
Other than JW Marriott, Jyoti has worked with brands including ITC Maurya and Head Turners Salon. She holds a Combined Diploma in Ayurveda & Panchakarma, Holistic Spa Therapy, Beauty and Yoga Teachers Training Programme from ISPAA International Spa Academy, Kochi, Kerala. She did a SPA Executive Course from ITC Welcomgroup HMI, Gurugram and prior to that she also learnt the Fundamentals for Beginners in Hair Dressing from A. N. John Academy, Kolkata.
