JW Marriott welcomes Bhavana Shah as the Director of Marketing & Corporate Communications at the JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort & Spa.
In her new role, Bhavana Shah will lead and oversee marketing and communication strategies designed to promote this iconic property and its services. With her enriching experience of over 16 years, Bhavana is proficient at formulating and implementing award-winning strategic communications, Events, Social-media, Branding, Internal & External communications and marketing plans.
She also has proven expertise in leading and a penchant for setting strategic direction for the exposure of brands, with a focus on market penetration, and increased brand recall, by putting together powerful strategic plans, impactful frameworks, and driving tactical marketing initiatives and hosting ultra-luxury events.
In her new role, Bhavana Shah will direct promotional campaigns, identify market trends, supervise and coordinate creative staff & agencies, create budgets, analyze and interpret sales and campaign ROIs data, ensuring that marketing and communications align with the hotel’s overall objectives.
Bhavana Shah comes with sound knowledge of crafting and executing strategies for media communication, organizing media campaigns, and undertaking media training for General Managers, CEOs as well as other stakeholders. She is also adept at, and will be responsible for crisis management and putting in place a robust print, social media and digital media plan.
Prior to joining JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort & Spa, Bhavana Shah was associated with some of the most renowned brands such as Elior India, The Ritz-Carlton, The Leela Palace Bengaluru, Novotel & Hyderabad International Convention Centre and more.
Bhavana Shah loves to spend time with her 5-year-old during her free time and has strong love for solo bike trips, adventure sports and wishes to see as many places as possible in her lifetime to get a deep sense of varied cultures, food and lifestyles around the globe.
