Say goodbye to hangovers and hello to conscious connection.

Tripnly, in collaboration with Espressolab Portugal, is transforming city’s party culture with the launch of Wake Up Club.

The country’s first “soft clubbing” concept.

Aimed at Gen Z and millennials, this innovative movement ditches the chaos of late-night raving for the serenity of early-morning gatherings, where music, wellness, and espresso fuel a whole new kind of vibe.

As Indulgexpress notes, after the pandemic and burnout of traditional clubbing, soft clubbing feels “like the perfect antidote” where people can be social, stay sober (or not), and still be in bed by midnight.

Soft clubbing blends the essence of café culture with curated beats and a focus on mental health, self-expression, and authentic community.

Held at Espressolab Baixa, the first two Wake Up Club events proved that Lisbon is ready to party, on its own terms.

The debut on January 17, 2025, welcomed 150+ early risers and sparked 50,000+ organic social media impressions.

The second edition, on March 15, grew even larger with over 200 attendees and 100,000+ impressions, featuring a set by DJ Brandi Perl that kept the crowd dancing well into the late morning.

The concept is simple: wake up, dress up, and show up, minus the pressure of alcohol, overstimulation, or exhaustion.

Instead, guests sip on speciality brews under fairy lights while enjoying immersive soundscapes, creative expression, and meaningful conversation. No blackout nights, just well-lit mornings.

More than a trend, soft clubbing is a movement.

It reflects the changing priorities of a generation that values emotional well-being, work-life balance, and experiences rooted in mindfulness.

The format has already proven its potential to drive business, build networks, and bring together like-minded individuals looking for a fresh way to connect.

The excitement continues with Wake Up Club #3 scheduled for Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 10 AM to 1 PM at Espressolab Baixa.

With momentum building and community interest growing, this new wave of daytime sociability is poised to reshape not just the city’s mornings but perhaps the global social scene as well.
