Renaissance Ahmedabad has appointed Mahendra Rathore as Executive Sous Chef. With an experience of more than 15 years, Chef Rathore specializes in Western and Continental cuisine.
An alumnus of IHM Gwalior, Chef Rathore started his journey in the Hospitality industry as a culinary with JP Palace Agra. After working with various luxury brands such as Kempinski, Taj, Tree of life hotels, and Lebua, he currently looks after the premium brand of Marriott International – Renaissance.
With his interests in Cricket and travelling, Chef delights himself in mixing diverse cuisine and edibles and creating a new range of platters for his guests.
His favorite delight being Street food, when asked what dish is a must-try at his current Outlet – R Kitchen, Chef says “Classic Egg Benedict”, prepared by his special and unique recipe is most loved by his guests and indeed a must-try!
Though being from a culinary background, chef has a deep understanding and quick grasp of his numbers and finances which allows him to make informed and efficient decisions that would lead his department and the hotel to 360-degree success.
