Marriott has announced the promotion of Kiran Andicot as Senior Vice President Development & Operations, South Asia

The appointment marks the expansion of Kiran’s role as Senior Vice President Development, with his new scope also covering Operations for more than 170 hotels in the region.
In this expanded role, he will align growth with operating performance, deepen owner partnerships, accelerate conversions and openings, and strengthen the region’s leadership bench.
Kiran Andicot is a well-rounded hospitality leader with extensive multi-disciplinary experience, having spent close to 30 years across various hospitality disciplines in India and South Asia.
He brings a dual foundation in hotel operations and development. He is an alumnus of the Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development, New Delhi, and began his career in hotel operations, gaining over seven years of experience with the Oberoi Group and IHCL. He then moved into consulting, working with HVS in India and EY in Dubai, covering the Middle East.
Kiran Andicot joined Marriott’s Development & Feasibility team in 2006 as Senior Manager, rising through the ranks over his 19-year tenure. As Senior Vice President Development, South Asia, Kiran and his team have been instrumental in delivering unprecedented growth momentum for the region, signing more than 220 hotels for South Asia.
In India alone, Kiran and his team secured a record signing of 42 hotels and 7,000 rooms in 2024, and earlier this year, signed a landmark founding deal with Concept Hospitality to affiliate The Fern portfolio of 115 properties with Series by Marriott.
Under Kiran Andicot’s leadership, Marriott has grown in scale and scope in India, extending the footprint into Tier 2 and 3 cities and are slated to launch the country’s largest branded residences with Westin Residences Gurugram.
These collective accomplishments are testament to Kiran Andicot’s strong relationships with owners and industry stakeholders, deep understanding of South Asia markets, incisive business acumen and steady leadership.
