Moscow: The Modern Capital for High Value Experiences
Moscow has emerged as a distinctive, design-rich destination for MICE travel from India, offering a striking blend of wide landscaped boulevards, world-class museums, vibrant cultural quarters and an architectural tapestry that spans imperial heritage, 20th-century grandeur and contemporary skylines. The city’s ability to pair premium experiences with strong value makes it an increasingly attractive choice for Indian corporates seeking high-impact incentive programmes and refined business events.
During the Think Tank, corporates were introduced to Moscow’s seamless connectivity, efficient transport systems, clean and well-managed public spaces, modern districts, luxury retail avenues and an exceptional portfolio of world-class hotels that elevate every business journey. The presentations highlighted how the city delivers a structured, comfortable and highly experience-driven environment for corporate groups, supported by a hospitality ecosystem that ensures both sophistication and ease across every touchpoint.
City Comfort and Guest Assurance
Natalia Voskanyants addressed the audience with a detailed overview of the comfort and ease that visitors experience in Moscow. She emphasised the city’s well-organised public spaces, reliable metro system, smooth mobility and the high standards of civic management that support a pleasant and seamless stay for travellers.

Natalia shared that guests consistently find Moscow welcoming, orderly and comfortable, and that the city’s commitment to visitor convenience is reflected in its clean surroundings, dependable public services and well-maintained infrastructure. Indian corporates appreciated the clarity she provided and expressed full confidence in the overall comfort their groups would enjoy in the city.
Indian Food and Catering Flexibility
One of the key elements of the session was the discussion on Indian food support for incentive groups and corporate events. The Moscow City Tourism Committee gave a comprehensive overview of the city’s ability to cater to Indian culinary preferences. Corporates were informed that leading five-star hotel properties can prepare Indian menus for gala dinners, conference lunches and incentive gatherings.
It was further explained that chefs in these hotels are familiar with Indian flavours and that specialised Indian dishes can be arranged upon request. External chefs are also permitted with standard clearances, allowing complete flexibility for large groups. While the city has several Indian restaurants, it was highlighted that hotels remain the ideal choice for handling high-capacity events. The assurance that Indian cuisine can be customised and delivered at a high standard was appreciated by the audience.
A City Filled with Distinctive Venues

The Moscow City Tourism Committee showcased the city’s rich selection of venues that allow corporate planners to create memorable experiences. This included an overview of the Cosmonautics and Aviation Centre at VDNH, cultural parks with striking architecture, artistically designed galleries, retro car museums, equestrian centres and large indoor event halls. These venues provide unique opportunities for themed events, immersive welcome dinners, leadership retreats and incentive celebrations.
The city’s river yachts, historic pavilions at VDNH and striking performance spaces were highlighted as perfect locations for high-impact corporate evenings. The visiting corporates appreciated the variety of settings available for exclusive gatherings, award nights, breakout sessions and teambuilding activities. With several venues offering both indoor and outdoor formats, the city presents a wide canvas for planners to be creative.
Connectivity and Visa Convenience
Air connectivity and ease of arrival were key themes during the Think Tank. The audience was informed that Moscow offers convenient flight options and efficient airport transfers. Russia’s e visa facility was acknowledged as a strong advantage because of its quick processing, simple documentation and affordability. This convenience provides planners with greater confidence while coordinating incentive departures and ensures a smoother travel experience for corporate groups.
Corporates welcomed the clarity regarding arrival procedures and appreciated the planning support offered by Moscow Tourism for delegations, incentive movements and business visitors.
Growing Interest in Moscow MICE Ambassadors Programme
A significant part of the session was dedicated to the Moscow MICE Ambassadors Programme. This online certification programme provides in-depth training on hotels, venues, activities, logistics and restaurants across Moscow. It equips MICE professionals with destination knowledge that helps them build structured itineraries and propose well-informed solutions to corporate clients.

More than 250 Indian planners have already been certified, making India the strongest contributor to the programme worldwide. Corporates noted that the programme is a valuable tool for enhancing destination knowledge and improving their ability to promote Moscow with confidence.
Lucky Draw Brings Excitement to the Evening

After the discussions, a lucky draw took place where all corporate attendees who had submitted their names participated. The lucky draw created an energetic and cheerful moment, and several winners received special gifts from the Moscow City Tourism Committee. This added an enjoyable highlight to the evening and was appreciated by all participants.
Networking Dinner Builds New Connections
The Think Tank concluded with a networking dinner and cocktails, where corporate leaders interacted personally with the representatives of the Moscow City Tourism Committee. These conversations allowed planners to discuss upcoming projects, explore venue possibilities, understand incentive ideas and gather detailed insights for future travel movements.
