According to a report by the Crisil Ratings, the hospitality industry is expected to grow by 11-13% in FY 2025 with a steady increase in domestic demand and foreign tourism. The investment in Shiftz by Nakul Anand comes at a perfect moment with the organization aiming to grow along with the overall projected growth of the industry.

Nakul Anand said ‘People are the backbone of the hospitality industry but unfortunately there have been no advancements in this process for our industry. When I met Rachit and Pranav and saw their value proposition, I really liked the approach and solution, and the hard work put into bringing their platform Shiftz to this level. I believe the ease of hiring and giving transparency to the business owners is a real winner here. I believe in the team and their way of solving this problem and there is definitely a huge opportunity which is there in front of us not only in India but globally.’

Aiming to solve the staffing issues in the hospitality industry related to high levels of attrition and lack of consistent talent, Shiftz has already worked with some of the biggest names of the industry like Taj Hotels, Ginger Hotels, Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, Barista Coffee, Chalet Hotels amongst others. Shiftz uses an AI-enabled discovery engine that helps companies find the most relevant on-demand worker and each profile goes through a rigorous background check and detailed verification.
