RCP Hospitality Pvt Ltd announced the appointment of Neelakantan Damodaran as their Group General Manager based at their corporate office in Bangalore.
Neelakantan Damodaran comes with an extensive experience of over 28 years in the field of Hospitality owing to his leadership roles in Luxury Resorts and Hotels in South India.
A graduate in BA Sociology and a Diploma holder in Hotel Management and Catering Science, Neelakantan Damodaran started his career with the Taj Group of Hotels back in 1993.
For over 19 years he was with Paul John Resorts & Hotels Pvt Ltd and has worked in various senior leadership roles with them. He was General Manager at Kumarakom Lake Resort a 5-star Luxury Resort, General Manager at The Paul Bangalore an all-suite Business Hotel, Group General Manager for the group for over 5 years managing their 3 luxury properties – Kumarakom Lake Resort, The Paul Bangalore & Forte Kochi.
Neelakantan Damodaran played a vital role as General Manager in the preopening and operations of their new resort project – Coorg Wilderness Resort, Coorg, Karnataka – an ultra-luxury all-suite resort with 104 keys, 05 F&B outlets, huge outdoor adventure activity, 12500 sqft Spa, and a helipad. His last assignment was with The Tamara Kodai, a luxury resort based in Kodaikanal as General Manager.
In this new role at RCP Hospitality Pvt Ltd, Neelakantan Damodaran will head India and Overseas operations and lead the dynamic team to sustain the brand identity as one of the most iconic restaurant chains and endeavour to raise the bar and strategically translate the version of the brand to a bespoke luxury experience in India and across the Globe.
