From 1 October 2021, Expo 2020 Dubai and Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) will open their doors and encourage meaningful and positive change.
BIE Member States voted remotely and have agreed to both the postponement and the proposed new dates for Expo 2020, which will now run from 1 October 2021 until 31 March 2022.
This decision allows more than 190 participating countries, to safely navigate the impact of Covid-19. When it opens its doors along with DEC, Expo 2020 will be among the first celebrations of human resilience and optimism, where the world will come together to explore a better future full of culture, creativity and innovation.
