The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore announced the appointment of Ojas Vagal as the Director of Human Resources.
Ojas hails from a prolific career with over sixteen years of diverse experience across departments in flagship hotels across the country.
He started his career in the hospitality industry in the Food & Beverage department at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai. Ojas scaled positions from being an F&B associate growing to an Assistant Restaurant Manager before moving to Human Resources. Having worked as a Learning Manager and Employee Relations Manager, Ojas displays a rare and cherished quality of connecting with team members to ensure their well-being and high morale that leads to the organizations goals being met. The first seven years of his career have been pivotal in establishing his in-depth knowledge of the workings of operations. Ojas has been the Human Resources Manager across leading hotels in Mumbai, Goa, and Bangalore.
In his last role, Ojas Vagal headed the Human Resource department at Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru at Embassy One as Assistant Director of People & Culture. Ojas was responsible for Human Resource Administration, Industrial Relations, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Labor Compliances, Payroll Management, Employee Engagement, Employee Benefits, and Vendor Liaising at the hotel. Ojas’s grit and passion for his work foster an environment where diversity is valued and individual aspirations of the employees are fulfilled. In his current role, heading the Human Resources Department at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore, he endeavors to provide exceptional care to each team member to continuously learn and grow at the hotel.
