Clarks Safari announced the appointment of Rajkumar Singh Kumpawat as Operations Manager for its Jawai unit. He has a vast experience of more than 13 years in the field of hospitality.
A diploma holder from National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Rajkumar has extensive experience in the field of operations management, front office, and hotel administration.
He was associated with Jawai Dam Stay (Leopard Safari & Birds Photography, Jawai) as a naturalist too. He is a keen planner and strategist with experience in handling the entire operations, committed to always ensuring the highest level of customer service, and resolving complaints and issues efficiently and accurately. In his previous experiences, he has worked at Sikarbadi, Udaivilas, Udaipur, and Devigarh Delwara.
He will be responsible for managing Clarks Safari Jawai, general administration, motivating employees, grievance redressal, daily monitoring & training of all service levels, and implementing new technological advancements on the property.
Rajkumar Singh Kumpawat shares, “Hospitality is changing drastically, a lot of people are interested in wildlife and birding. But at the same time, they are demanding better services and features. Thus coordination is needed among all the employees and regular training to make them attuned to the customer’s demand.”
He added, “Tourists are now more aware and are strictly abiding by responsible tourism. Located in one of the wildlife areas of India, I want to make tourists sensitive toward the ecosystem of the place. My aim is to cut down on plastic waste and encourage recycling and rainwater harvesting on the property. At the same time, I will be training front office staff and making them at par with international hospitality service standards.”
