Kochi Marriott Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott Kochi Airport, and Port Muziris, Kochi – A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, have announced the elevation of Sachin Malhotra to the position of Multi-property General Manager
Sachin is a passionate hospitality professional with over two decades of diverse experience across leading hotel organisations, including Hyatt International, The Leela, and Accor. He brings with him a strong and intuitive understanding of revenue and sales management, hotel operations, and evolving guest expectations across both mature and emerging markets.
Sachin joined the Marriott International family in 2021 as the Hotel Manager at Fairfield by Marriott Lucknow. He was promoted to General Manager in 2022 and was honoured with the APEC Leadership Excellence Award 2023 for his outstanding contribution to the hotel’s success, including strong market share growth and best-in-class overall performance.
In 2024, he took on the role of General Manager, Kochi Marriott Hotel, where he successfully repositioned the property as a premium destination for urban travellers. His deep understanding of the Kochi market will be instrumental in further strengthening Marriott’s brand presence across the city in his expanded role.
