Novotel Ahmedabad has announced the appointment of Satyam Varma as Director of Revenue, reinforcing the hotel’s focus on disciplined commercial strategy, data-led decision-making, and long-term revenue performance.
Satyam Varma brings over six years of experience in revenue management, analytics, and commercial strategy, developed through his professional journey with leading hospitality and consulting organizations including Marriott International, The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL – Taj Group), and ZS Associates.
A graduate of the Institute of Hotel Management, Aurangabad, affiliated with the University of Huddersfield, UK, Varma holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Hotel Management and is a Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME) from HSMAI. His background combines strong operational exposure with advanced revenue and market intelligence expertise.
Across his career, Satyam Varma has managed revenue strategy for single hotels, clustered portfolios, and multi-market operations. His experience includes the successful launch and stabilisation of a new hotel, leadership of revenue and reservations functions, and consistent delivery of top-line growth through structured pricing, forecasting, and inventory management.

In his role at Novotel Ahmedabad, Varma will guide a structured evolution of the hotel’s revenue strategy, focusing on demand-based pricing, refined segmentation, and a more balanced business mix. His responsibilities will include strengthening distribution efficiency, improving forecasting accuracy and budget discipline, and applying market intelligence to enhance competitive positioning. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations, he will ensure that revenue strategies are aligned with market dynamics and executed consistently across all channels.
