Sayaji Hotels is marking a significant acceleration in its India growth journey with 7 new properties added between April 2026 and August 2026, taking its latest additions to 440 rooms, 10 banquet spaces, 9 restaurants and 6 outdoor event spaces

Spanning multiple brands, hospitality formats and destination types, the development represents a substantial build-out of the group’s portfolio and strengthens its ability to serve the country’s growing demand across business, leisure, pilgrimage and experiential travel.
India’s hospitality landscape is being reshaped by the rapid growth and diversification of domestic travel. According to the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, India recorded 2947 million domestic tourist visits in 2025 with YoY growth of 17.49%. The growth is creating opportunities across regional business centres, pilgrimage hubs, leisure destinations and emerging tourism markets.
Sayaji Hotels is tapping into this opportunity through a multi-brand growth strategy, with Enrise by Sayaji, Effotel by Sayaji, The Forest Chapter by Sayaji and Amber, a unit of Sayaji, addressing different segments and destination profiles. The latest additions span 7 cities across three states – Gujarat, Maharashtra and Sikkim, strengthening the group’s presence across markets driven by diverse business, leisure, pilgrimage and experiential travel demand.
The group has maintained a consistent pace of expansion through Q1 and Q2 of FY2026, adding new properties across multiple markets and strengthening its presence across diverse demand segments. The 2025 rollout included Calangute, Navi Mumbai, Neemuch, Vidisha, Khed Shivapur, Panaji, Madhai, Chandrapur, and Kalaburagi. The momentum continued in 2026 with Bareilly, Latur, Bhopal, Sangli, Sasan Gir, Vadodara, Junagadh, Amravati, Gangtok, and Somnath. The rollout illustrates the group’s approach of scaling through multiple brands while entering markets shaped by different demand drivers.

Sumera Dhanani, Corporate Director of Business Development, Sayaji Hotels Ltd, said, “Over the next five years, our focus will be on building Sayaji Hotels into a stronger, more contemporary hospitality brand with greater relevance across India. We want to deepen the connection between our brands and the guests we serve, while creating experiences that extend beyond the stay itself. Food and beverage, banqueting, events and experiential hospitality will be important parts of this journey.
From a business perspective, we see an opportunity to build greater brand recall, strengthen customer loyalty and create a more integrated hospitality proposition. We aim to grow a business that is recognised for its distinct identity, consistent service and ability to evolve with the changing needs of Indian travellers.”

Pawandeep Mago, Director Development, Sayaji Group, said, “From a development perspective, our priority is to build the portfolio through well-evaluated opportunities rather than pursue growth for its own sake. Every project begins with understanding the market, demand potential, land and location dynamics, project economics and the operating model required to make the property viable. We work closely with our teams and development partners to determine the right configuration for each opportunity, while maintaining discipline around timelines, investment and returns.
This approach allows us to take a long-term view of development and build a portfolio that is commercially sustainable. As we move forward, we will continue to assess opportunities where the fundamentals support a strong and viable hospitality project.”
With Enrise by Sayaji in Gandhidham and Enrise by Sayaji in Kufri in the development pipeline, Sayaji Hotels is set to build further depth across business and leisure markets. The growing portfolio reflects the group’s ambition to strengthen its brands, respond to evolving travel demand and create a more recognisable Sayaji presence across India’s diverse destinations.
