Jaisalmer Marriott Resort & Spa has announced the appointment of Shiv Bose as its new General Manager.
With over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Shiv brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role. His journey in hospitality started as a bell desk associate at the famed JW Marriott Juhu, Mumbai in the year 2002. Serving multiple roles in Marriott for over a decade, his experiences and learnings became the bedrock of his hospitality career.
He has served multiple General Manager roles in the past, namely Le Meridien Nagpur, Courtyard by Marriott Hebbal, Bengaluru, Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort and Spa & Double Tree by Hilton Panjim, Goa. In his last assignment, his resort was awarded for excellent work in promoting diversity and workplace conditions for team members and was bestowed with the Award of Excellence for the APEC region.
In his new role, Shiv will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the resort, ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction and creating memorable experiences for all guests. His endeavour is to position the resort in the luxury space and capitalize on the wedding segment.
