Signum Hotels & Resorts, one of the well-known hospitality group, has appointed Sunil Sikka as the strategic advisor for the brand. He is responsible for brand expansion in India and international markets. After beginning his career with renowned hospitality chains, he has now joined Signum. He comes with a rich experience of 39 years, prior to this he has worked with one of the giants in the hospitality industry, ITC Hotels. Sikka has gained extensive knowledge during this time at some of the most prominent hotels in India.
His initial posting was at ITC Maurya, New Delhi in the Front Office, from which he moved to various positions. Welcom Heritage was established in 1997 and Sikka has been connected to the brand since the commencement of the post of Head of Marketing and Business Development. The brand started with 5 hotels initially and now has 41 hotels under its portfolio across 15 states of the country.
