Sumeet Taneja, General Manager – Taj Swarna, Amritsar is being promoted as Area Director – Chandigarh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh & J&K at IHCL and General Manager – Taj Chandigarh, Chandigarh.
Sumeet Taneja has been part of the IHCL family for over 27 years and has successfully established the Taj brand in the heart of the Golden City.
He will now be responsible for multiple hotels, viz. Taj Swarna Amritsar, Taj Theog Resort & Spa, Shimla, Vivanta Dal View Srinagar and Taj Chandigarh.
In his new role, he will report to the Executive Vice President – Operations, North & West India, IHCL.
