Sumit is a seasoned hotelier with over thirteen years of experience across hotels in the domestic and international markets spanning India and Australia.
Beginning as a Loss Prevention Officer in 2007 at Chubb Security, Sumit ascended his growth graph with diverse roles at hotels such as Jaypee Hotels and Resorts, Courtyard by Marriott Agra, opening countdown team at JW Marriott Chandigarh, JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa, Ramada Plaza Chandigarh, Courtyard by Marriott Amritsar and Hyatt Regency Dehradun. He has previously worked as Multi-Property Director of Loss Prevention in Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre and Courtyard by Marriott Hyderabad.
The Agra Police and Tourism Authorities have previously recognized Sumit Punn as the Best Safety and Security Manager in Uttar Pradesh. He is a member of the Overseas Security Advisory Counsel of the US embassy, along with being a US Embassy Gold Standard awardee.
