Located within the Big Five Balule Nature Reserve, the 6-key Taj Bush Lodge is designed to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings. The lodge draws inspiration from the textures and heritage of the region with thatched roofs, warm wood accents and earthy tones. Guests can indulge in home-cooked meals that combine global influences with local heritage, crafted using the freshest seasonal produce.

Unwind at Taj’s signature J Wellness Circle, offering holistic wellness therapies in a serene setting. Guests can explore the curated experiences including open-air breakfasts in the bush after morning game drives, traditional South African braais under the night sky, full-day safaris in Kruger National Park Blyde Canyon boat cruise, quad biking through the Maseke Reserve, a day trip along the Panorama Route, and visits to unique attractions including Jessica the hippo and the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, alongside boat cruises on the Olifants River.
