Upcoming 5 star luxury property, The Leela Bhartiya City Bengaluru expands its senior management team and brings in talent with global expertise.

Bhavana Menon, taking the role of Director of Sales, comes with over a decade of experience working with some of the prominent brands under the Marriott group of hotels. She has a proven record of client acquisition and development, deploying successful marketing campaigns, and managing revenue streams. Bhavana is an adaptable and forward-thinking sales leader.
Mohammed Eliyaz, a passionate culinary expert who swears by his craft has been appointed as the Executive Sous Chef. Chef Eliyaz has worked with some of the finest Michelin Star Chefs. Prior to joining The Leela Bhartiya City Bengaluru, he was spearheading the kitchen at ALBA, the Signature European restaurant in Bengaluru. He has worked with Marriott, ITC, and the Oberoi group of hotels in the past.
Sudarshan Sahoo joins the team as the Assistant Financial Controller. He brings onboard almost 2 decades of experience working with brands such as The Oberoi Hotels, Intercontinental, CARE India, and Unitech Amusement Parks. Sudarshan has vast expertise in accounting, budgeting, and auditing.
Resham Gupta, a Human Resources expert with over 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry, has been appointed as the HR Manager at the property. A high-performing executive with immense expertise and accomplishments in Employee engagement & Human Resources Development, Resham has previously worked with renowned brands like The Westin, Taj group of hotels, Radisson Resort, and Spa, to name a few.
Jayant Sood joins the team in his new role as Front Office Manager at The Leela Bhartiya City Bengaluru. He comes with almost 15 years of experience in curating memorable guest experiences across various brands like The Claridges, Trident, The Imperial, and ITC Group of hotels. Jayant has been associated with The Leela group of hotels across various geographies for the last 10 years. His journey with the group started as Duty Manager at The Leela Ambience Gurgaon Hotel & Residences.
Abhijeet Panda has been appointed as the Training Manager who brings along a decade of experiential luxury background in Talent Development & Quality Assurance working across cultures like Starwood, Roseate & Marriott Hotels. Possessing strong preopening expertise, he played a key role in promoting talent and upskilling the workforce in his last stint.
Last but not the least, Rajesh Misra joins the team as the Kitchen Stewarding Manager with close to 30 years of experience. A student of Doon school and Lucknow University with a 3-year Diploma from Montana, Valais, Switzerland he has worked with brands such as ITC, Westin, Hyatt, Radisson, Novotel, and Pullman. Setting up kitchens, ordering the state of the art equipment, and overseeing the smooth running of kitchens of all sizes serving a host of cuisines, is Rajesh’s area of expertise.
