Vikas Sood, Director of Operations comes with exceptional knowledge of large-scale events and exhibitions. He started his journey in Food and Beverage nearly 25 years ago and has been associated with leading hospitality brands such as Hyatt and Taj. His forte lies in heading Convention Centre operations.
Ashis Rout, Executive Chef brings with him over two decades of varied culinary expertise in the luxury hospitality industry.
With a style that is uncomplicated, fresh, innovative and contemporary, Chef Rout perfectly embodies the Leela ethos of ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’- Guest is God. He has worked with brands like Hyatt, IHHR Hospitality, Marriott International, Intercontinental Hotel Group, and Accor and specializes in pre-opening and building empowered teams to drive results.
Dhananjay Samarai, Director of Human Resources comes with over two-and-a-half decades of extensive experience in the hospitality industry. His past assignments include renowned brands namely, Taj, Le Meridien, Hyatt, Starwood Hotels and Resorts and Marriott International.
Prabhakar Singh, Director of Sales and Marketing has a career spanning over two-and-a-half decades, associated with a wide array of economy, upscale, and luxury brands, including Taj, Accor, and a previous stint with The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts.
Suresh Ankam, Chief Engineer comes with a decade of experience and has been a pioneer in the launch of The Leela Gandhinagar. Suresh has excellent in-depth knowledge and pre-opening experience, having launched leading luxury hotels with brands like The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, ISTA Hotels, and Hilton.
With a wealth of experience spanning nearly two decades, Leena Mandal has been appointed as Executive Housekeeper. She has been associated with The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts for over a decade in Bengaluru, Chennai, and now in Gandhinagar. Leena has also worked with other luxury brands such as Oberoi, Taj and Lalit.
Supreet Bagga, Revenue Manager brings with him a total of six years of work experience and has handled diverse portfolios in hospitality such as Accor. He comes with a robust skillset of developing effective business strategies, optimising distribution, and revenue forecasting.
Gaurav Besoya, Front Office Manager has nearly a decade of experience in the hospitality industry and has worked with hotel brands such as ITC, Le Meridien and Taj, before joining The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts.
Anirban De Munshi, PR and Marcom Manager comes with nearly nine years of work experience and has led marketing initiatives for hospitality brands like Accor and Wyndham previously.
Vivekanand Singh, Operations Manager brings with him over 13 years of experience driving operations and guest service within the hospitality industry. He has worked with other brands such as ITC and Le Meridien.
With over a decade’s experience in the hospitality industry, Sharanmeet Singh has been appointed as IT Manager at The Leela Gandhinagar and Information Security Officer at The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts.
Pritesh Gupta, Financial Controller, has got over16 years of work experience in handling the financial efficiencies within the hospitality industry. He has previously worked with leading luxury hospitality brands like Le Meridien, Oberoi, Vana Retreats.
Pranjal Srivastava, Training Manager brings with him over nine years of experience in Training and Human Resourcesgarnered through his previous associations with leading brands like Oberoi, Indigo Airlines and Marriott International.
