The Leela Mumbai recently announced the appointment of Rohan Joseph as the new Head of Catering Sales. A seasoned hospitality professional, he brings with him over 13 years of rich experience and a wealth of expertise in sales and operations of events.
At The Leela Mumbai, Joseph’s core responsibilities will include revenue and inventory management for catering sales, planning and execution of events and upselling of hotel services.
Commenting on the appointment, Sameer Sud, General Manager, The Leela Mumbai said, “Joseph’s sound understanding of the hospitality industry, paired with his skill to forge strong relationship with clients, will be vital for our brand as we continue to grow as the one-stop destination for business and leisure travellers.”
In the past, Joseph has worked with prestigious brands, such as The St. Regis Mumbai, Palladium Hotel Mumbai, Shangri-La Hotel Mumbai, Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai and Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. Prior to joining The Leela Mumbai, he worked as the Director of Catering Sales at The Westin Mumbai Garden City.
In his leisure time, Joseph enjoys travelling to new destinations, attending live music events and exploring innovative foods and new restaurants.
