A press conference was convened with Director Tourism Shri Kedar Naik, General Manager, Marketing GTDC Shri Gavin Dias, Deputy General, Marketing and PRO Shri Deepak Narvekar, and Assistant Director, Department of Tourism Shri Jayesh Kankonkar, who collectively unveiled the highlights of this year’s festival.

Speaking at the conference, Shri Kedar Naik shared, “The Spirit of Goa Festival is more than just a celebration — it is a tribute to Goa’s legacy of craftsmanship, innovation, and community spirit. By blending tradition with creativity, the festival presents a vibrant showcase of our rich heritage to the world. We are committed to strengthening such platforms that empower local artisans, distillers, and culinary talent, while also offering visitors an authentic taste of Goa’s evolving story.”

Now in its latest edition, the three-day festival will feature over 40 curated stalls, celebrating Goa’s distinctive distilling heritage with a wide selection of locally produced spirits — including the traditional GI-tagged Cashew Feni, modern Feni infusions, craft gins, beers, agave-based spirits, and innovative wines.

Culinary offerings will be equally diverse, with a focus on both traditional and contemporary Goan fare. Ingredients such as banana flower, kokum, jackfruit, bimla, and mango will feature prominently, showcasing Saraswat, Konkan, and Christian cuisines, alongside fusion dishes and bespoke cocktail pairings.

Beyond food and drink, visitors can immerse themselves in a host of engaging experiences — from mixology and food masterclasses, to a Feni Experience Centre led by Goa’s finest distillers. Additional attractions include live demonstrations of Goan arts and crafts, an interactive photo booth, and the ever-popular cashew stomping sessions.

The entertainment stage will boast a world-class Coda audio system from Germany, featuring performances by Goa’s most vibrant local talent on a global-caliber setup.

The Spirit of Goa Festival remains a cornerstone initiative under the Department of Tourism’s mission to promote Goa’s cultural, culinary, and artisanal heritage, while aligning with the state’s vision of regenerative and sustainable tourism.
