The Westin Pune Koregaon Park recently announced the appointment of Abhishek Sehgal as Chef De Cuisine for the-soon-to-be-launched restaurant, The Market. With more than 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Sehgal brings with him profound knowledge, passion, and expertise in the kitchen and F&B department. His last assignment was as the head chef at Cicchetti By Mr. Beans.
Abhishek holds a BSc. in hospitality and hotel administration of science from IHM, Jaipur. He encompasses expertise in handling kitchen operations, menu development, achieving guest satisfaction.
During the last 10.5 years, he has grown from being a Hotel Management Trainee to being the Head Chef. He has previously honed his craft in kitchens such as the Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi, and Indigo Restaurant. At The Westin Pune Koregaon Park, Chef Abhishek would be responsible for The Market’s daily operations in the kitchens, menu development, ensuring minimum wastage and controlling food costs. He would also be responsible for assisting in F&B activities of the restaurant. Chef Abhishek would now be responsible for elevating taking the culinary offerings of the restaurant by adding his personal touch to the dishes.
