The 14th edition of TiEcon Kerala unfolded in a residential format that blended business intensity with the soothing ambience of Kumarakom’s backwaters. Over two days, delegates participated in a packed lineup of sessions, masterclasses, startup showcases and evening engagements that encouraged free-flowing conversations beyond formal settings. The venue’s natural charm and hospitality were repeatedly acknowledged as central to the experience.

Geemon Korah, Chair of TiEcon Kerala 2025 and VP, TiE Kerala, described the event as refreshing and unforgettable. He shared that the professionalism with which the conference was executed exceeded expectations and that the atmosphere at The Zuri created a sense of warmth and enthusiasm. Delegates were reluctant to leave for Cochin, nearby hotels were fully booked, and the overall ambience earned a strong rating.

He highlighted standout moments, including the masterclass by CK Ranganathan, the Industries Minister’s address on Kerala’s strong ease-of-doing-business ranking, and insights shared by Balagopal of Terumo Penpol. The high-impact Pitch Bay session, where more than four crore rupees were committed within two hours, further elevated the event. He described the setting as surreal, enhanced by live instrumental music and the tranquillity of the backwaters.

The depth and purpose of the sessions were also emphasised by Jacob Joy, Immediate Past President of TiE Kerala and Founder of Jakobi Chocolatier. He observed that this edition felt more focused, insightful and mature, reflecting Kerala’s evolving entrepreneurial identity. He praised the intimate networking opportunities, the authenticity of exchanges and the sense of community that shaped the event. He added that The Zuri Kumarakom provided an elegant backdrop that naturally encouraged meaningful conversations, with hospitality and logistics managed seamlessly, even with the complexity of accommodating diverse delegate requirements.

TiEcon Kerala 2025 concluded as one of the most impactful editions to date, combining strong content with a memorable experiential format that celebrated Kerala’s entrepreneurial spirit. The conference strengthened community ties, inspired collaboration and reaffirmed Kerala’s emergence as a dynamic, innovation-ready ecosystem.
