Mikael Lindberg clinched the 2026 Turkish Airlines Open in Antalya, underscoring Türkiye’s growing appeal as a premier global golf destination

In a thrilling conclusion to the 2026 Turkish Airlines Open, Mikael Lindberg won the title with a total of 278 (-10) strokes at the National Golf Club in Belek, Antalya, with Guido Migliozzi and Daniel Rodrigues finishing as runners-up.
The award was handed to Mikael Lindberg by the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Türkiye, Dr Osman Aşkın Bak and Turkish Airlines Chief Commercial Officer Harun Baştürk.
The award ceremony was attended by Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Türkiye, Dr Osman Aşkın Bak, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Member of the Turkish Parliament, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Governor of Antalya, Hulusi Şahin, Turkish Airlines’ Chief Commercial Officer, Harun Baştürk, President of the Turkish Golf Federation, Yıldırım Demirören, Owner of Regnum Hotels, Fikret Öztürk, and DP World Tour’s Director of Tournament Business, Mark Casey.
Speaking at the ceremony, Turkish Airlines Chief Commercial Officer, Harun Baştürk, stated, “Turkish Airlines Open has once again demonstrated why Antalya holds a special place on the world golf map. Golf, like aviation, knows no borders, and that is precisely why this tournament matters to us. Hosting one of the most prestigious tournaments of the DP World Tour here in Türkiye and seeing the sport grow both nationally and internationally through this platform is deeply rewarding.
