Varun Chhibber has been appointed as the General Manager at The Leela Ambience Gurugram Hotel & Residences. Leading some of the finest hotels in the world, he joins the team with close to two decades of experience. In his new role, he will oversee the day-to-day operations, along with the senior leadership team, while creating bespoke experiences.

Under his leadership, The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel Delhi transitioned into one of the most preferred MICE and Wedding destinations in Delhi-NCR. Earlier, he has worked with various Oberoi properties across locations and also had a stint in Maldives where he worked with Velassaru Universal Resort, a luxury getaway on the beautiful island.
An alumnus of IHM Mumbai, Varun holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree along with a post-graduate diploma in hotel management from The Oberoi Centre for Learning and Development (OCLD).

Varun likes to lead the team by example and is consistently recognized for his impeccable achievements and ideas. His in-depth knowledge of the Delhi market combined with his business acumen and planning equip him in positioning the hotel a notch above. Coming from a strong background of Food and Beverage operations and marketing, Varun’s vision is ideal for leading the award winning hotel.
On a personal side, Varun has travelled extensively which helps him understand his guests’ better. Varun is also a sports enthusiast who loves to watch a game of cricket with his friends and get on the field to play football with his son.
