Indore Marriott Hotel, a leading 5-star property in Madhya Pradesh, announced the appointment of Vijay Chandran as their new Director of Operations. With over 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Chandran in his new role will be responsible for overseeing smooth functioning across departments and leading the strategic and business operations of the property.
During the course of his career, he has been associated with prestigious hotels in different parts of the world. His previous stints include, Food & Beverage Captain at ITC Hotel Park Sheraton, Mixologist at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Food & Beverage Team Leader at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Beverage Manager at W Doha, Food & Beverage Manager at W Dubai Al Habtoor City, Director of Food & Beverage at the Westin Hyderabad Mindspace to name a few.

Chandran has received his education from the Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Chennai. He has also been awarded the best leader of the year in 2014, while working with Zaya Retreats, Abu Dhabi.
