Best Western Hotels is set to make its Rajasthan debut through the upcoming re-branding of Seasons Park Resort & Spa in Udaipur, a development facilitated by SeaHorse Hospitality Consulting. The 98-room property on the Udaipur–Ahmedabad Highway will be upgraded and relaunched as Best Western Plus, Udaipur by September 2026, strengthening the region’s mid-to-upper upscale hospitality landscape.

Strategic Signing and Brand Alignment

The signing was formalised on 19 November 2025 with key stakeholders: Mr Kishore Jhambani, Mr Akash Talreja and Mr Zubin Jhambani (Owners, Seasons Park Resort & Spa); Mr Atul Jain (COO – India, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka, Best Western Hotels); and Mr Sandeep Roy (CEO, SeaHorse Hospitality Consulting).

Sandeep Roy, Founder & CEO, SeaHorse Hospitality Consulting, said, “Re-branding an existing, high-potential asset in a market like Udaipur requires surgical precision. This alliance perfectly aligns Best Western’s robust distribution with the owners’ expansive MICE facilities, guaranteeing superior performance.”

The agreement gives Best Western a strategic foothold in one of India’s most competitive leisure and events destinations. The advisory process has structured the re-branding blueprint and upgrade plan to align with Best Western Plus’s premium standards and projected RevPAR outcomes.

Upgrade Plan and Property Features

The property, formerly Seasons Park Resort & Spa, will be enhanced into a 100-room, full-service resort designed for leisure travellers, destination weddings and corporate events. Alongside 11 Premium Plunge Pool Rooms, the inventory will comprise Deluxe Rooms, Premium Rooms, Luxury Rooms, Family Villas and Presidential Suites. Dining facilities will include an 80-seat multi-cuisine restaurant and a 50-seat contemporary lounge bar.

A significant highlight of the redevelopment is the expanded MICE capacity. A new 10,000 sq ft pillarless banquet hall will anchor the events offering, supported by two additional halls of 2,400 sq ft and 1,250 sq ft. The outdoor venue portfolio features four lawns measuring 50,000 sq ft, 13,000 sq ft, 6,400 sq ft and 3,000 sq ft. The largest lawn, capable of hosting up to 5,000 guests, positions the hotel strongly for large-format destination weddings and social celebrations.

Recreational amenities will include a full-service gym, spa, swimming pool and 24-hour in-room dining, completing the resort’s appeal as a comprehensive destination for both leisure and events. With operations expected to commence by September 2026, Best Western Plus, Udaipur is poised to contribute meaningfully to Udaipur’s tourism and MICE ecosystem.
