Moustache Group of Hotels has brought the 25-year-old King’s Abode in Ranakpur into its Luxuria portfolio, adding a landscape-led resort spread across 8 hectares and comprising six distinct sections, 11 room categories, and three wedding lawns, around five kilometres from the Ranakpur Jain Temple
The property is designed for leisure travelers, families, celebrations, and destination weddings, while retaining the slower, more immersive character of a stay in Ranakpur.
Ranakpur has long drawn travellers for reasons that go well beyond a single monument. Set in the Aravalli hills, its 15th-century Jain temple is among the most important Jain pilgrimage sites in India and is known for its intricate marble architecture and 1,444 individually carved pillars. The wider Pali region also connects travellers to the forests and wildlife around Jawai and to Kumbhalgarh, giving Ranakpur a mix of pilgrimage, architecture, nature, and countryside travel that is unusual even within Rajasthan.
Its location also makes Ranakpur accessible for shorter leisure stays. Ranakpur lies roughly 90 km from Udaipur, with Maharana Pratap Airport in Udaipur serving as the nearest airport. Sadri and Desuri connect into the NH 162 corridor, while the property itself sits on Ranakpur Road.
The property is divided into six areas. Lily Court features ponds with lilies and fish, with porches overlooking the water. King’s Court comprises a cluster of rooms, along with conference and banquet facilities, an enclosed restaurant and an outdoor dining area. Garden Court has rooms arranged around a central garden, while Queen’s Court contains the more contemporary rooms. Royal Pavilion includes the main swimming pool and two gardens.
King’s Grove, located to the left of the entrance, is the more wooded section of the property and includes mature neem trees, a children’s play area and space for nature walks. The landscaping includes around 10 varieties of flowering and fruiting trees, as well as palms. The property covers a sizeable area, with a walk across the grounds taking close to 30 minutes without entering the individual courts.
King’s Abode has three large lawns, banquet and conference facilities, gardens and multiple dining spaces. These areas are used for weddings, family celebrations, private functions and other gatherings.
Accommodation is spread across 11 room categories, including Superior and Premium rooms, Junior Suites and Presidential Suites. Some Superior rooms share gardens, while other room clusters open onto shared terraces. Premium categories include rooms with access to shared pools, private plunge pools and open-air showers.

King’s Abode marks the 9th property under Luxuria by Moustache. Moustache currently operates across three formats: Moustache Hostels, Moustache Select, and Luxuria by Moustache, and reported 37 operational properties as of July 2026. The group is working towards an 80-property portfolio by 2030.
