IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Entry Point Hotels & Resorts Private Limited to develop Holiday Inn Raipur in Naya Raipur, Chhattisgarh

Scheduled to open in Q1 2031, the signing reinforces IHG’s commitment to expanding its presence across high-potential travel markets in India and driving growth in demand-led destinations across the country
Holiday Inn, one of the world’s most recognised and trusted hotel brands, continues to respond to evolving travel needs and strong owner demand. In India, the brand is building momentum across key destinations, supported by a growing portfolio and IHG’s broader growth ambitions in the country.
One of India’s emerging administrative and commercial centres, Naya Raipur is Chhattisgarh’s planned capital and is expanding rapidly, supported by growing government, institutional, commercial and infrastructure activity. Holiday Inn Raipur will be located in Sector 24, Naya Raipur (Nava Raipur Atal Nagar), close to key government complexes, public sector units, upcoming major hospitals and growing commercial activity. Its proximity to Mantralaya and Vidhan Sabha, as well as Swami Vivekananda Airport, will provide convenient access for government delegations, corporate travellers and visitors to the city.
Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, is evolving from an industrial Tier-2 market into a wider commercial, administrative and emerging technology hub. Naya Raipur is adding demand through improved connectivity, civic infrastructure, education, IT and lifestyle-led developments. The market is also seeing activity across proposed data centre and IT developments, established educational institutions and upcoming tourism and entertainment assets, further supporting the need for quality branded accommodation.
Well positioned to serve this growing demand, Holiday Inn Raipur will offer 156 rooms and suites, including 16 suites, alongside three dining venues comprising a 117-seat all-day dining restaurant, a 40-seat bar and a 40-seat lobby lounge. The hotel will also feature approximately 942 sqm of meeting and event space across four venues, including a 715 sqm divisible ballroom, as well as a swimming pool, fitness centre and parking. Facilities are indicative and subject to design development and IHG brand standards.

Commenting on the signing, Sudeep Jain, Managing Director, South West Asia, IHG Hotels & Resorts, said: “We are delighted to partner with Entry Point Hotels & Resorts Private Limited to bring Holiday Inn to Naya Raipur. As the city continues to develop as a key administrative and commercial centre, the signing presents an opportunity to introduce one of our most recognised brands to a market with diverse travel needs. Holiday Inn Raipur will bring the brand’s warm, welcoming and reliable hospitality to a market shaped by business, government, events and leisure travel. The hotel’s Open Lobby concept will provide an inviting space for guests to work, meet and relax, complemented by its dining, meeting and leisure facilities. As part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, the hotel will also benefit from IHG’s global distribution, digital platforms and IHG One Rewards loyalty programme, extending the reach of the hotel and connecting it to IHG’s network.
The signing of Holiday Inn Raipur marks another step in IHG’s expansion journey in India, reinforcing its strategy of bringing globally recognised brands to high-potential destinations and expanding its presence across key travel markets in the country.
